I recently had the pleasure of working with Miracle Vet, a Pittsburgh-based dog food company that specializes in grain-free dog food. I was thrilled to work with a company that produces grain-free/gluten-free dog food. Humans as well as dogs and even cats can have problems digesting certain grains and gluten (wheat, barley, rye and sometimes oats). I was actually diagnosed 10 years ago with celiac disease. It’s an auto immune disease in which the small intestine is hypersensitive to gluten, leading to difficulty in digesting food and absorbing nutrients. It’s extremely important for me to buy gluten-free food for my own furbabies, so I was excited to work with a company that offers grain-free food for dogs. The dogs loved the Miracle Vet dog food and were so excited when I tossed some on the floor for some candid pictures. The expressions on their faces said it all. Heaven!! 🙂
