It was an honor to be a part of this sweet couple’s wedding day! Corey and Courtney had plans of an elegant wedding at the Crowne Plaza Suites, Pittsburgh South. They requested getting ready and “first look” pictures before the ceremony. I love the look on Corey’s face when he sees his beautiful bride during the first look pictures! 🙂

For those of you that don’t know what a “first look” is, I’ll explain a little more about it. A first look is a private moment just for the bride and groom, set up by your photographer to capture the perfect moment when the groom sees his beautiful bride for the first time. It’s scheduled after the getting ready pictures and before the wedding ceremony. Your photographer finds the best location and places the groom in the perfect spot, facing away from the bride. We then send the bride to come from behind him and tap his shoulder. The pictures that are a captured are always so sweet! I always recommend a first look if you are a more non-traditional couple. You make your wedding day longer by adding an extra hour or two of photography coverage, your photographer captures these unforgettable moments and you get to spend some private time together before the ceremony. 🙂
